This work has a double objective: to establish a classification of the phraseological interlingual relations, and to demonstrate its use on the textual level in the translation of the phraseology. On the basis of a corpus extracted form the novel Die Klavierspielerin and its Spanish translation, this analysis offers a new typology of the phraseological relations and shows how many of them serve as procedures for the translation of the phraseology.
