In this book, the author attempts to propose solutions to the problem of translating wordplay and puns. Starting from a classification of the puns and being based on the interpretative theory of translation, it proposes several working methods stemming from examples of translation from English, Italian and German. As the author puts it, this generalist study could be broadened to language pairs and extended to other languages.
