This article discusses the book 'On Acting', the first translation to Spanish of a well known method of acting in United States. Sanford Meisner has taught in the Neighborhood Playhouse for the past decades. Some of his students are Sydney Pollack, Diane Keaton, Michelle Pfeiffer or David Mamet. The book includes a list of the theatrical words used for exemplication. This glossary is an interesting example that may be useful in further aproaches to Translation Studies.
