The authors describe a bilingual grammar used for translation of verb frame divergences between Swedish and English. The grammar is used both for analysis and generation with Minimal Recursion Semantics as interlingua. The grammar is based on the delph-in resources for which semantic transfer is proposed for MT. The authors show that an interlingua strategy based on a bilingual grammar can handle many cases of verb frame divergences minimising the need of transfer.
