Abstract

This book constitutes a study of Swedish translations of six English-language fiction works, written by authors such as Nadine Gordimer and A.S. Byatt. The main focus of the study is on their respective translations into Swedish by either Else Lundgren or Caj Lundgren. It looks into the Swedish translation environment, the academic translation scene, a detailed analysis of some translations, the translation of adverbials and other topics.
