The author of this study is mainly interested in the development or the basis of the linguistically oriented approach to Translation Studies over the past three decades, its possible impact on the discipline, and the consequences for the work under discussion: the analysis of translation processes from a psycholinguistic point of view and its applicability to the development of the didactics and methodology of Translation Studies in the context of the language pair German / Portuguese.
