Abstract

It is pedagogically axiomatic that true quality can only be achieved if the goal is made perfectly clear to the student. This paper discusses a fresh approach to the following issues: 1. Various methods to highten awareness of students’ perception of evaluation; 2. formative evaluation as used in the author’s courses; 3. ongoing research in sommative evaluation.
