In this work, the author discusses the phenomenon of the semantic calque from Greek into Latin: how does the Greek vocabulary influences the Latin vocabulary? In the first part of the book, the author gives some theoretical and methodological indications to situate the problem. In the second part, the author studies some important terms from the Latin vocabulary. Most of these terms have been chosen by means of practical criteria, others have been chosen because they were less known.
