Abstract

This chapter aims to provide an overview of the corpora available in Spain that might prove useful to translators and translation researchers working with Spanish as a source or target language. To this end, the author presents corpora containing texts in Spanish, including all the corpus resources identified as useful tools. In conclusion, a description is given of the CDJ-GITRAD corpus, a Multilingual Corpus of Legal Documents and the GENTT project, in which a multilingual encyclopaedia of specialised texts for translators is currently being compiled, specifically intended for medical, technical and legal translators working with Spanish.
