This book deals with the relationship between terminological concept theory (conceptology), semantics and word formation, with the aim of integrating developments in linguistics into terminology theory. A classification system for term formations is elaborated - on the basis of another for baseball terminology - primarily on the conceptual relationships holding between the constituents of complex terms.
