Abstract
The Universidad de Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, offers a one-year language specific European Master’s in Intercultural Communication, Interpreting and Translation in Public Services in seven language pairs. The teaching methodology includes both on-line classes and on-site classes, a Master’s thesis and non-remunerated internships. The author intends firstly to describe the curriculum design of the programme and the changes made in the light of experience; secondly to analyse the implementation of the skills taught, with emphasis on internships and research; and finally to evaluate the results of the last three years in terms of degree of satisfaction by institutions, trainers and students.
