Abstract
Since the middle of the 1980s, research into the process has tended to focus on methods of eliciting and analysing qualitative data. In particular, the method of thinking aloud has been widely used. In the present paper, the authors report on an experiment in which quantitative data logged by a computer programme were used in combination with qualitative think-aloud data.
