Abstract
In the first part of the paper, which deals with organic poetry and Shakespeare translation, the author embarks upon the Schlegel-Tieck metrical Shakespeare translation. In the second part of the article, the author looks into Romanticism and Anti-Romanticism after Schlegel. The third and final part of the article considers a methodology for the analysis of nineteenth-century translations.
