Abstract
This article deals with conference interpreting. Conference interpreting (CI) is the mediation, from a source language (SL) into a target language (TL), of speeches, presentations, and spontaneous comments by delegates and participants at international conferences where people do not speak the same language. The various modes, the technology and the training of conference interpreters are discussed in this article.
