Abstract
This article deals with post-editing. Post-editing of machine translation is an activity in which a translator compares a source text with a translation produced by an automated process (machine translation or MT) and edits it to make it acceptable for its intended purpose. Post-editing (PE) is a standard feature of any serious commercial MT system, and is similar to revision of human translation (HT).
