Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to discuss how retrospection can provide information about the process of simultaneous interpreting, and about the difference between experienced and inexperienced interpreters during the performance of an interpreting task. The main interest of this presentation is focused on what kind of information quantitative and qualitative oral retrospective data can give about the informants and the process of interpreting.
