Abstract
This chapter reports on the pedagogical evaluation of the learning processes of trainee interpreters and clients of interpreting services using a bespoke 3D virtual learning environment (VLE). The VLE that provided the basis for evaluation is the IVY 3D virtual environment developed in the Interpreting in Virtual Reality project. The evaluation results are discussed in detail to gain a deeper understanding of learning processes in virtual environments in interpreter education.
