Abstract
This chapter presents a case study of developments with regard to interpreter education in Ireland and Belgium before turning to explore students’ and academics’ responses to working with digital resources in a blended learning environment. The latter data were collected through one-on-one meetings, interviews and online surveys. Both in Flanders and Ireland participants reported a desire to access academic content in a signed language. To conclude, several challenges related to the implementation of e-learning in the field of Deaf studies and interpreting are listed.
