This research collects information on the work habits of interpreting students, their priorities when carrying out an interpreting assignment, their practical knowledge on medical interpreting and the resources they are familiar with. A questionnaire was distributed in several universities (both national and international) to gather useful data for teachers in the discipline, revealing the necessity to further develop medical interpreter training.
