Abstract
This article deals with the sworn translation of biomedical texts. The author reviews the textual typologies that are usually translated in this context and points out how this frequency is related to social circumstances and trends. Finally, Barceló Martínez proposes to include the sworn translation of biomedical texts in the teaching of legal translation. She advocates for an integrative approach to teaching that takes into account the requirements of the professional market.
