Abstract

This chapter describes an undergraduate course in translation where the source languages are Catalan and Spanish and the translating language is English. In accordance with the three levels of instructional organization suggested by Richards and Rogers, the author first presents the theoretical framework that underlies the nature of learning and translation in the course (approach), followed by a description of the classroom dynamics based on a syllabus (design), and, finally, some examples of activities, tasks, and projects carried out by the students (procedures).
