Abstract

This edited volume contains nineteen articles investigating the role of translation and translators in the Silver Age. The volume contains contributions in Spanish, Catalan and English. Some of the main topics discussed include the relation between translation and culture at the time, the reception of foreign texts in Spain and the reception of Spanish texts abroad, theatre translation in Catalonia, discussions on symbolist and avant-garde poets, the life and works of Teodoro Llorente and other topics.
