Abstract

This volume was published as part of a celebration to mark the 40th anniversary of the reform and opening-up policy launched by China in late 1978, when it abandoned its former isolation in favor of a deeper engagement with the world. It provides an integrated analysis of China’s extended boom in translation and Translation Studies during this period.
