Abstract
The article tries to apply categories from language registers to the analysis of audiovisual texts in order to obtain conclusions which might be useful for their translation. The main idea is to characterise the audiovisual text as a register and analyse the interaction between oral and visual narrative, stressing the cohesive factors between both.
