The discipline known as public service interpreting and translation has become more advanced and consolidated. The demand for professionals in situations that hinder the communication process between representatives of public administrations and users who speak only one language is increasing and, in fact, different academic institutions have become aware of this situation. This book analyzes the documentary and lexical needs in this domain, and addresses the development of lexical translation competence in a digital society from a theoretical and practical perspective.
