Translators are usually a one-person company, where the owner is responsible for all its different departments: production, quality control, marketing, promotion, meeting deadlines, etc. Basically the translator does it all, and the company success will be achieved if there is a perfect balance in all the different departments and areas. The article looks at the complex and different tasks performed by the professional translator which are not related to linguistic translation.
