This study deals with educational considerations on sight translation. It is based especially on experiential data from media where sight translation is needed. Problematic situations arising from time constraints, text types, speakers' delivery of speech are explained. Moreover, skills to be targeted, materials to be utilized, and some techniques like parsing and chunking are suggested.
