Abstract
Métissage offers a third alternative to fusion and differentiation, homogeneous and heterogeneous. It is a process in which the components of a new unity preserve their identities and backgrounds. A 'translated text' neither favors the original nor the translation; on the contrary, it reveals their interactions and claims to be a real model of ethics.
