Abstract

Focusing on comparative culture courses intended for translators and interpreters, this paper investigates a methodology that aims to blend two different approaches into a practical course format for Hong Kong students. It also provides examples that have been tested in the classroom. It deals with, among other topics, the problem of culture, cultural knowledge and course methodology.
