Abstract

This article chiefly concentrates on the LOGTIS experience, the local government translation and interpreting service project, in which members of the unit for language facilitation and empowerment at the university of the Free State, along with the municipality of Welkom, used “seed funding” given by a European donor government to start that language facilitation project.
