Abstract

According to this article, the discourse of localization began in the specific field of software marketing, probably in the United States and probably in the 1980s. This article focuses on localization and in the introduction, the author gives a description of this term for laypersons. He describes localization as a marketing term for ‘translation’ and ‘adaptation’. Afterwards, he tries to give an answer to the following questions: What is localization? Where should localization be put?
