The delivery of cultural/community interpreter services was pilot tested in two Domestic Violence Courts and a hospital-based Domestic Violence Project in Metropolitan Toronto. This paper focuses on various stages of the development of a program which was designed to provide a team of cultural/community interpreters trained to work within all the jurisdictions of the Domestic Violence Courts and hospital program.
