Abstract

This is a compendium of all the writers, plays, translations and adaptations from Spanish theatre performed in the USA up to 1936. The article also covers the critical reception of the plays, translators, names of actors, and dates and numbers of performances, all of which testify to a strong interest in Spanish literature in the USA during that period.
