Abstract
This book looks into the theoretical discussion of curriculum and assessment in interpreter education programmes. It first provides an introduction to the issue. The second chapter focuses on interpreter education literature. The third chapter is dedicated to fundamental aspects of curriculum. Chapter four deals with the foundations of interpreter performance assessment. The fifth chapter provides an introduction to the case study. Chapters six, seven and eight elaborate upon this case study. Chapter nine examines the implications of the case study and finally chapter ten looks into curriculum enhancement: an integrated Y-track model.
