Abstract
In this paper, the author aims to introduce a series of complementary questions seeking to validate whether poetry should be translated as poetry, and by poets. He makes a few reflections on some formal facets of poetry that are non-verbal. These reflections relate to some of the physical, aural, visual and social aspects of prosody and genre.
