Viaggio, Sergio. 1997. Kinesics and the simultaneous interpreter: the advantages of listening with one’s eyes and speaking with one’s body. In Poyatos, Fernando, ed. Abstract

This article embarks upon kinesics and the simultaneous interpreter. Vaggio argues why interpreters insist on seeing what they are listening to, why they demand to see who is listening to them, and why they would also like to see everybody else. This is a selection of the topics subjected to discussion in this paper.
