The dissertation studies the main theoretical contributions from China and the West. In the second part it studies various levels of Chinese -vocabulary, morpho-syntax, text and context-, selecting the items which appear to be problematic in their translation into Spanish and other related languages from a contrastive point of view. The third attempts to solve them from isolated and contextualized perspectives.
