Abstract
This thematic issue shines the spotlight on the concept of context in interpreting in community or public-service settings. Its contributions investigate the ways in which context is taken into account in interpreting research, practice and training. Most of the contributions result from papers presented at the In Dialog 3 conference, which took place from 21 to 22 November 2019 and was hosted jointly by the University of Antwerp and KU Leuven Antwerp campus under the auspices of ENPSIT (European Network for Public Service Interpreting and Translation).
