Abstract
Microsoft says its Office 2000 combines almost all language versions into one program, so you can type in English, French, traditional Chinese, simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc. all in the same document. The catch is that users need to buy Office 2000 with MultiLanguage Pack or Office 2000 Proofing Tools or upgrade their Windows to Windows 2000. Because of this new feature, the benefit of using add-on foreign language system software such as Richwin, TwinBridge, and Union Way is dwindling.
