Heidegger interpreted “translation” as “transfer”, but in fact, he rewrote the name and reality of translation, opening up the study of translation in the true sense of existence. This article attempts to explain the meaning of translation as a transfer and its application in Parmenides, elucidating its significance for translation research. Introducing the concept of transfer into translation research is a fundamental work for conducting ontological research on translation, which can lead to reflection on both "translation as meaning" and “translation essence”.
