Abstract

This is an approach to literary translation, as well as to the didactics of translation, by means of a critical comparison of different translations of a given work. The student becomes aware of the multiple factors in a given solution, as well as of the possibilities involved, and of the gains and losses of each option. By means of proposing to the student this critical comparison instead of a pure exercise of translation, he gets a formation, theoretically and practically, which is wider and richer.
