Abstract
In spite of the recent success of Humour Studies and translation studies, the translation of humour isn’t an item of interest for researchers. Most of the contributions discuss the “(un)translatability”, which is situated on the “cultural” level. However, the «cultural cartography» should treat translated humour in a more serious way: the absence or the presence of humour and its modalities are incontestable signs of boundaries. The bibliography of this article could be the start for a larger discussion on humour in translation.
