Grammatical information in the definition parts of a bilingual learners’ dictionary is crucial in terms of the studies in lexicography, semantics, second language acquisition and psycholinguistics. Based on the analysis of three Chinese-English learners’ dictionaries, this paper gives a summary of various approaches to the information contained therein, and points out that they still leave some room for improvement.
