One of the objectives of European Union policy is bringing legislations closer, but if the terms of a law are not well understood, it will be impossible to unify these laws in different languages due to the fact that every language structures and organizes what has been agreed on differently; and this determines which components are used and which are specific to each language. This leads translators to look for the possibilities that each one of these languages offers in order to highlight this specific field, while structuring the peculiarities of legal language. Insisting on the necessity for translators to be specialized to work with legal texts, it seems justified to study and systematize those linguistic resources belonging to legal language through a contrastive analysis, providing practical examples of translations in order to better understand them.
