Abstract

There will probably not be very much discussion on the necessity of vocabulary acquisition within translation education. The means, however, to achieve that knowledge can be very diverse, with respect to efficiency as well as to reception. The first part of this paper focuses on a survey conducted among students. The second part is dedicated to the connection to the desirability of text-oriented translation education.
