Abstract

This book aims to design an encompassing translation theory that is inspired by linguistics and cultural studies and takes into account both text linguistic and hermeneutic aspects. It intends to not just explore and analyse the translation practice and its problems, but also to give this practice a well thought-out, theoretical foundation.
