Abstract

This edited volume on legal and sworn translation is divided into five main chapters. The first part concentrates on peculiarities of legal language seen from an interdisciplinary perspective. The second focuses on theoretical and practical reflections with regard to legal and sworn translation. The third concentrates on a pedagogy of sworn translation and legal documents. The fourth part deals with sworn translation within the linguistic combination of French-Spanish (academic documents). The last part concentrates on sworn translation within the linguistic combination of French-Spanish (legal documents in general).
