This work aims at showing some problems of practical nature concerning the development of definitions by comprehension in a language of speciality, Artificial Intelligence. One thus could conclude that, between the theory exposed in the terminological standards and practical work, some adaptations are necessary, given the need for a more effective communication and the specific character of each language of speciality.
