This study is an illustration of the principle that translation is a form of paraphrase. This being posed, the problem is to know what can be deduced from the process of paraphrasing. The idea is to show that certain translation processes are the application to the interlinguistic field of schemas of intralinguistic equivalence observable on the intralinguistic level. The hypero-hyoponymic relation is a way to structure the lexicon.
