In this paper, the author aims to share with the readers (and fellow participants) a brief reflection on the general nature of the exchange sponsored by Target and on what it seems to reveal about the field and its scholars. She ponders the exemplarity of the myth of Babel and its appropriate relationship with translation and other items.
